Chimney Rock Rocks!

The potato cats originally planned to camp out on Lobo Pass last night, but things didn't go their way as a big storm was brewing near them. To escape the mighty wrath of Zeus, the cats decided to abandon the area entirely and press on all the way to Pagosa Springs, which smells a lot worse than its name would lead you to believe. As the smell of sulfur was too unbearable for the cats' sensitive noses, they had to travel even farther, which led them to visit the Chimney Rock National Monument. To see all the sights and hike on all the trails free of charge, the cats had to climb all the way up a 2.5 mile road. It was well worth it, however, as the cats were able to learn a lot more about the people who lived near Chimney Rock over a thousand years ago. The staff there were very knowledgeable and could answer pretty much any question thrown at them, which greatly satisfied the cats' endless curiosity. After leaving Chimney Rock with more knowledge than they originally entered with, the potato cats are now peacefully resting in Durango before they continue onward to Mesa Verde (so far,  Durango has earned the unanimous approval from all the potato cats).

Pictures that will imbue their viewer(s)  with knowledge*:

*Do not fret, the two pictures taken with a potato cat on the wall were taken with permission from the staff present/working at the site.
